Scope of Work: We painted 4 interior rooms. The main focus on this project for the customer was the sunroom they had a vision for. They wanted to create a bold new appearance by “color drenching”, which is a method where all of the surfaces from floor to ceiling are all painted one color. This included painting the walls, trim, built-in shelving, and ceiling in the selected color.
The Why: The couple who bought this house had recently moved in and were wanting to have several rooms freshened up and painted to new colors.
Unique Challenge: The customer wanted a very clean finish on the trim and built-ins, requiring the use of a sprayer. This takes additional preparation and protection to ensure the project is completed cleanly and that we protect the non-painted surfaces.
Customer Priority: The customer’s priority was achieving an aesthetic finish that accurately matched the example shown in an example photograph she liked.
Products Used: Sherwin-Williams Cashmere Interior Acrylic Latex – Egg-Shell on the walls + Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel – semi-gloss on the trim, built-ins and ceiling.
Colors Used: Sea Mariner – Sherwin-Williams SW9640
