Scope of Work: This project included painting several interior rooms. The painting was part of a larger renovation, including the man cave, which was a new addition to the home, as well as painting the kid’s play area in the basement. This project was completed with another contractor who had completed all of the drywall work and additional finishing touches before the painting began.
Unique Challenge: The unique challenge for this project came mostly from the fact that this was a new construction. This requires not only additional planning/coordinating with the other contractor and homeowner to make sure we stay on schedule, but also involves some additional preparation for the newly installed surfaces. The trim required additional preparation to caulk and putty nail holes, and all of the drywall needed to be primed with a drywall primer. Due to the black color used on the ceilings and walls of the golf-simulator bay, this also required additional coat to achieve even coverage.

Timeline: This job was completed in stages. With good communication with the other contractor, we made a few visits for each stage and the painting project was completed in about 3 weeks time.
